For the abve task, I edited file “/etc/inittab” and added entry “id:5:initdefault:”. Since I was not allowed to reboot the system I cliked on submit.
Could you please let me know where I did go wrong.

Hi @sshivax . The third line of the same file says that editing on it has no effect whatsoever. The proper way to solve it is using systemd. Reread the comments on this file and you’ll see how
