Macvlan trunk mode

Hi All

I am trying macvlan in my lab. I understand that there are two modes to it i.e. bridge and trunk. I followed 2 Minutes to Docker MacVLAN Networking – A Beginners Guide – Collabnix for bridge and communication came up (I had to enabled promiscuous mode)

Now I am trying trunk mode however the communication is not coming up i.e. between container and docker host (they are on same subnet). Promiscuous mode is enabled however I did not run below commands.

My query is do I need to run below commands for trunk mode as well >? If not , then please suggest what I should look for (edited)

Hi Vaibhav,

I believe you need to run the exact same commands but for the sub interface created with the 802.1q trunk bridge mode.
