i am trying to change user from bash to bourne, as soon as i type chsh, terminal prompts me for password but does not allow me to type??stuck,need help asap.
Are you sure it is not allowing you to type? Linux password prompts do not move the cursor as you enter the password. Cursor will not move till you hit ENTER key
