Is dual monitor allowed for exam ? Which is preferred single or dual to be quick in search and give exam if allowed ?

chris resnik:
dual monitor is allowed

Tharanath:
You can check here for more details. https://docs.linuxfoundation.org/tc-docs/certification/lf-candidate-handbook/candidate-requirements

I M:
Thank you … So it’s better to use dual monitor right? We don’t have to navigate between exam console and documentation … Please suggest

chris resnik:
whatever you feel comfortable with

Rocky:
you could have only one additional tab open in addition to exam tab - so it does not help much; mostly your choice.

chris resnik:
undecided on that one…. I’m a laptop-only guy most of the time but I really enjoyed having a dual-monitor where on one monitor i have http://kubernetes.io|kubernetes.io open with the documentation and on the other screen i have the terminal open

chris resnik:
that way I was able to re-check e.g. indentation or spelling while putting out yamls

I M:
Yeah I also feel easy and quick to re-check when I have document in one screen and terminal in another . So that I don’t have to switch tabs frequently .
So it means it is allowed in exam and I can open terminal in one and open another chrome instance for official document in next screen ?

Oliver Radwell:
I’m on Linux and had trouble with dual monitors. I just couldn’t share both monitors properly. I ended up disabling my laptop’s main monitor and switching completely to my external monitor. I just used Chrome with a few tabs
