IPtables Installation And Configuration - Task incorrectly marked failure

Hi, even though my rules are saved permanently for all app servers, still my task was marked failure because of below reason:

Task Status - Failed
  • rule was not added permanently on App Server 1

Just to verify I also restarted the iptables service.

service iptables restart

And even after that I could see that my rule was still there and all conditions were met 8082 port was only accessible from LBR host and was blocked from everywhere else.

Please help.

@mmumshad @Lakshmi: Can someone please take a look? I strongly feel it was a validation error. Have gone through the video recording as well.

Hi Ankur, its not validation error, you need to set rule correctly
