I have a basic question with the ingress… i have created the ingress spec and i have two services that routes to the pod.

It depends upon which ingress controller is installed and what is its default https port

Now, you do not want your customer to have to remember that ugly long elb url. In the real world, a CNAME dns entry is configured to that ugly load balancer url. However, for purposes of learning that’s enough.
