Hi, Still unsure if I want CKA as I like to lean towards more developer roles .

I passed CKAD more than a year ago.

Use k8s at work with Azure but never had to do any admin work like deploying backing up etc…

I noticed CKA has cut down to 2 hours.

How long extra do you think do will take to prepare for CKA given my experience?

Seeing its now down to 2 hours is it harder than it used to be?

Cheers

Samir:
I don’t know the CKAD Certification was but in the CKA certification you need to deploy nearly everything and do some administrative tasks like “upgrading a node”, “making a snapshot”

Fernando Jimenez:
@Allen Ho Given you experience, probably two dedicated weeks, of 3 to 4 hours a day. One for going over the whole material lessons and practices and one just for mockup practices.

Fernando Jimenez:
You can go at a little lighter pace and do it in a month but the risk is that when you enter into the practice mode you might start forgetting details of what you have gone over already and you start hesitating and feeling the need to go back again.

Allen Ho:
Ok thanks alot
