I was an absolute beginner before studying and passing the CKAD. I have worked in IT but as a program manager so was not technically certified in anything. No knowledge of YAML, GO, Docker. I passed the CKAD (after multiple attempts) and am now confident that I can tackle the CKA. You can certainly pass the CKA/CKAD as a beginner!
I would strongly suggest starting with CKAD then go to CKA. The CKAD seems to have a narrower subset of subjects to learn.
