Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted

I have taken a task where tell me to set a firewalld rule. Then I have installed the firewalld and systemd package and when I am trying to start it, it has shown the below error.

thor@jump_host ~$ systemctl start firewalld
Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted
thor@jump_host ~$

Please help me

I am getting the same issue when I am installing Mariadb on 172.16.238.15 (ststor01)… Can anyone please help?

[root@ststor01 ~]# service mariadb start
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl start mariadb.service
Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted

hi @Chance, as per question you need install mariadb on DB Server instead of Storage Server.
