The videos here do a great job explaining what’s suppose to be happening when pushing to a local repo but MOST of the tactics DON’T WORK.
- The actual commands to set up a local registry and push an image to it don’t work.
- The command to set up the username and password on the registry don’t work.
The entire lab portion of this section needs to be updated with working commands. The documentation here and tactics worked just fine for creating a local registry and pushing an image to it, https://docs.docker.com/registry/deploying/#run-a-local-registry.
Please consider redoing the lab for this section with instructions that work. Thanks.
