Change runlevel - Permission denied

Issue with new task assigned in Kodecloud engineer.
I cant switch to app servers, shows permission denied.

I was using the correct password only (from the same document). Until yesterday task was to change the run level (Refer to the attached image) and today that changed to MariaDB troubleshooting (While the change runlevel question simply disappeared).Refer to the attached image.
