Hi @Barney Murnin, this is usually because its not set at the correct place.

Are you setting it at the POD level or container level?

Also when you edit the pod definition there might be another default entry for securityContext below that might be overriding your entry. Make sure there is only one entry for securityContext.

I was setting it at the container level like the answer file

thanks for answering. I have to restart the unit to get to that point again

the error seems to be on the 1010 user id

I deleted the piped out the yaml file and deleted the ubuntu-sleeper pod, then I made the edit as described in both the answer file and online documentation. and it fails on the 1010
